Wei Tsun Chang

Dr. Wei Tsun Chang is a Professor of Violin at Tennessee Tech and an Adjunct Associate Professor of Violin at Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music.

Wei Tsun Chang is a graduate of Indiana University, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and he received his doctorate from Michigan State University. He has already had a distinguished career as soloist and Chamber musician.

Student of Joseph Gingold, James Buswell and Walter Verdehr, chamber music coaching with Rostislav Dubinsky and Felix Galimir. Wei Tsun is a sought-after soloist, concertmaster recitalist and teacher. He is an active chamber musician with recent performances in Tennessee, North Carolina, Michigan and Massachusetts as well as recitals in Paris and Barcelona. As concertmaster, Wei Tsun has led and soloed with many orchestras in Michigan, and is currently concertmaster with the Bryan Symphony of Tennessee. He has also soloed and toured Europe with L'Orchestre de Chambre Française Albéric Magnard and the Cameratta Antonio Lucio of Netherlands. Blair since 2006.
